~at the gate to leave for the adventure~

"alright (name) you are ready to leave... good luck dear" your father hugged you goodbye and went to his duties, dark on the other hand, tried to stall...

"dark i have to go...." he looked really sad, almost crying.

"i-i know... i just-" i hugged him, and he hugged back and hid his face in the crook of your neck, crying.

"dark i will be fine i promise!" you pulled back, dark looked like he just was stabbed, i hated it.

"ok... i-i... i will wait for you" you hugged you then helped you on (your horses name) even though you didn't need help, you didn't say no, and you took off.

~nightfall~

you sigh and sat by a cute pond, you and (horses name) decided to take the night off there, until you heard a horse running and it wasn't (horses name), when the source came into view you knew it was link, he saw you and had his stead trot up to you.

"what is a fair maiden such as yourself doing at a place like alone?" he asked tilting his head in the most adorable way.

"I'm not from here so I'm not sure where i am..." you weren't lying... you were lost XD

"ah i see, please, i can lead you to hyrule castle, you will be safe there for the night." he gave a soft smile, you couldn't help but smile as well

"that's actually where i was going! i am ever so lucky to have ran into you!" you clapped your hands together happily.

"i guess it is, say i never got your name..." oh shoot good going me.

"ah- I'm sorry i am (name)" i blushed out of embarrassment

"i am link, its nice to meet you!" you stood and mounted your stead, following the hero of hyrule to his home.
